Head Global Internships

A very unique role with only 300 such jobs existing globally was given to us by our client, which is large and diversified business group with presence in over 100 countries and feature in the Fortune 500 list. The client intended to run this global internship program which would engage undergraduate and graduate students from the worlds best (ivy league & equivalent) colleges located in Americas, Asia, Europe and ANZ and complete with other Fortune 500 companies for the best talent from these colleges. They group required an incumbent who was a graduate from an ivy league & equivalent college with experience in a similar role that engaged students from tier 1 colleges across multiple continents and countries and has strong insights on what student inclinations when considering an internship that could be located anywhere in the world. This search assignment required us to identify talent from companies head quartered across America, Europe and Asia as well as personnel leading the student placement cells at colleges like Yale, Wharton, INSEAD, London Business School, AIM Manila and the likes. In a duration of 3 months we represented a list of 4 most eligible candidates from which the client made a selection. The client continues to run their Global Internship Program which has been successful and continues to be lead by the person we placed.

Head Chef & New Product Development

The mandate given to us required a Michelin Star Chef with experience in developing new ready to eat packaged foods. Our client was a very large company with presence in the agri business and a very fast growing ready to eat packaged foods business. As part of the clients strategy to enter newer categories within the ready to eat packaged foods business they sought to hire a unique talent combination for leading their Research & Development by hiring a person who is a Michelin Star Chef and has then worked in a leadership role with people management responsibilities in Research & Development for creating new recipes and final products for packaged foods with extended shelf life and to be sold in the retail market. This unique combination is very rare with near 250-300 people working globally in such a role, primarily since it requires an individual to make a career choice different from the conventional.  We worked on this role covering talent with the necessary certifications and experience located in the markets of Europe, America and some specific cities in Asia and ANZ and Middle East. Our search yielded very interesting results given the rare combination of skill sets and we represented the best 4 candidates to the client.

Think Tank for Political Party

We were engaged by a political party which wanted to set up an internal Think Tank which would undertake research and provide insights on social, economic and political events in India, while also monitoring the media narrative and providing guideline for effective advocacy of the clients
beliefs. The assignment required a talent with varied expertise in social and economic research, media, data analytics  but also people with experience in managing political campaigns. Given the uniqueness of the organization and with very limited scope to hire from think tanks of other political parties (with no profit motive political parties work on ideologies) we identified talent who were from the media, social economic monitoring institutions, political campaign companies, reputed educational institutions and private advocates.  Spear over a period of 4 months engaged with a very diverse talent set and successfully hired the founding team of the think tank.
